OVERVIEW
This Privacy Disclosure Statement & E-mail Communication Consent is relevant to VIM Capital Pty Ltd (ACN 690 516 879) (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’), which operates as a Credit Representative (CRN 573144) of MRFHI Pty Ltd (ACL 476270). We collect and store information about you for the purposes you agree to in this Privacy Disclosure Statement and Consent, subject to Australia’s privacy and credit reporting laws, including the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2024 (CR Code).
Your credit and personal information will be handled in accordance with the CR Code.
PRIVACY DISCLOSURE STATEMENT AND E-MAIL COMMUNICATION CONSENT
We are collecting credit and personal information (‘information’) about you to:
• Source consumer or commercial credit for you, or a company of which you are a director; or
• Support a guarantor application you may provide.
As your broker, we require the information we collect from you to assess your credit or guarantor application, source a suitable credit provider and any required insurances, and to manage the application process. If you do not provide the information sought, we may be unable to process your application or may be limited in the services we can offer.
YOUR INFORMATION – COLLECTION AND CREDIT REPORTING BODY (CRB) DISCLOSURES
When we collect information from you in the credit application process, we may:
• Disclose your identification information to a Credit Reporting Body (CRB) and obtain a credit report;
• Use any information the CRB provides to assist in assessing your credit or guarantor application;
• Disclose your personal information to an insurer to source any insurance you wish to obtain;
• Disclose your credit information to a credit provider to apply for finance on your behalf; and
• Disclose your personal information to an aggregator to enable submission of your application.
CREDIT PROVIDERS
We may submit your application to one or more credit providers. Each credit provider may collect and disclose information about you from or to one or more CRBs. Details of each credit provider’s privacy and credit reporting policy are available on their websites. A current list of VIM Capital’s panel of lenders and credit providers is available upon request or via www.vimcapital.com.au.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
• Request access to the information we hold about you;
• Request correction of any incorrect information;
• Obtain copies of our Privacy Policy or this document in a preferred form;
• Request that CRBs not use your information for direct marketing or pre-screening; and
• Request a CRB to provide a copy of information it holds about you.

DISCLOSURE AND CONSENT
By signing below, you agree that we may use and disclose your personal and credit information:
• To assess your consumer or commercial credit and/or guarantee application;
• To source any finance or insurance you require;
• To disclose to and obtain from any prospective credit provider or insurer the information necessary to obtain finance or insurance;
• To check your information with relevant document issuers or record holders;
• To provide your information to one or more of our panel credit providers;
• To disclose information to guarantors, prospective guarantors, contractors, agents, or service providers (including those overseas);
• To disclose information to any organisation that may acquire an interest in our business or rights under your contract.
You also consent to CRBs disclosing consumer credit information to one or more credit providers for the purpose of assessing your credit or guarantor application.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION CONSENT
By signing below, you consent to receive documents (including Credit Guides, Quotes, Credit Proposals, and this Privacy Statement) electronically via the email address you provide. You agree to regularly check your email for such communications. You can withdraw your consent to electronic communication at any time by contacting us at hello@vimcapital.com.au or by calling 1300 003 555.
AUTHORISATION
I/we hereby appoint VIM Capital Pty Ltd to act as my/our finance broker. This authorisation confirms that VIM Capital Pty Ltd has been appointed to collect, collate, and prepare relevant documentation and forward it to potential lenders and/or financial intermediaries. By signing below, I/we authorise VIM Capital Pty Ltd to obtain credit reporting information and provide my/our consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of my/our credit-related personal information in accordance with the CR Code.
